I put together a spreadsheet for Kasey's Konfections. Total orders for my first full week of business were $69!! Not bad for just starting. However, upon looking at my receipts I noticed the supplies are costing a lot. Thus I am getting my sams card renewed next week and I had to go up by fifty cents on two items and two dollars on another. Don't worry Wendy, it wasn't the muffins or Key lime pie. I had to raise the cost of my Turtle pie from $10.00 to $12.00 because supplies for it are REALLY high. Did you know a small bag of pecans is over SIX DOLLARS! yikes...and I changed my pumpkin roll from $10.00 to 10.50 and my Mmmm That's Good Candy from $10.00 to $10.50. I am in the process of looking for some more things to add to my list of items. Only have 7 on here right now. However, I think I am going to add strawberry muffins and banana nut, am thinking of a pinapple cream cheese upside down muffin too! Any suggestions? Mom says to add my grandmas famous (in the family anyway) butterscotch pie. Its and OLD recipe and doesn't taste like the butterscotch puddings you would think of, its so amazing tasting! She also said to do a lemon meringue. What do ya think out there?

I just got three more orders, one they want by tomorrow, and the others by friday!
now my revenue is up to 96! Yee haw...but :( I have to go shopping again. I have thought about shipping stuff, like say if you wanted something Gracie, but I don't know how I would do it without the product being ruined!
There has to be a way to chip cause you can buy stuff from other places to be shipped.
You could make a dessert kit. All the ingredients and the directions. That would be cool.
As for the pecans... if you get the kind you have to crack they are cheaper and buying in bulk is cheaper and buying from a produce stand is cheaper. Tell Damon to grow you a pecan tree. :P
well...Gracie I could ship you certain things on my list and just go to a ups store and request a food package for it and have to ship it overnight. It would end up costing you a little more but I could do it I think. Something easy to ship would be the candy or the muffins. I think they would be okay to ship. The others would be "interesting" to figure a way out. And,as far as the pecans go Wendy...I have thought about the cracking thing. But, I spent this past fall cracking them from Damons uncles house and they were miserable to get out, I would rather pay extra than do all that work. geesh...but I am hoping when I go to sams they will have them in bulk already cracked. Think they will? I wan tto buy my butter, crisco, flour, sugar, nuts, eggs, lime juice, and pie tins, and delivery boxes from Sams. I think there may be more. But that is what I can think of for now.
Looking for information and found it at this great site...
