Southern Women's Show, NO REALLY

Okay, so this time I am really going to the SWS tonight. Am I a southern woman? By birth, no...by marriage, well the natives say it takes atleast five years to become completely southern if introduced to the South via Marriage, so...again I say, by marriage, no. (wow, that was a lot of comma's) Oh well, I am going with a woman in her 40's named Judy, whom I have met all of 4 times. She loooooooooves to talk and is very bubbly *looks for help* I like to talk, but I am not one of those bouncy people. Should be fun though, I hear there are lots of freebies and food. Just what I need, lots of food. *sigh* She says to bring money *shhhh, don't tell Damon she said that* haha. I doubt I will have any money to bring as I am brrroke. Well almost, but I have groceries to buy.

Shower planning....hmmm, I love it. I really wish I could be a wedding and party planner for a living. I'd be great at it. I don't wanna deal with alcohol, and second (third, fourth, fifth) marriage though, so there ya go. I dunno, could I do it without having to deal with that stuff. Could I state my morals and beliefs and decline some clients? Thought anyone?

Busy at work today, and I smell like bleach, yuck. I'm wearing my white shirt that got washed in bleach and it smells like it. EW.

Brought pineapple rings for lunch YUM in their own juice. I looooove pineapple like that. I am weird though, cus I don't like it in baked stuff or in fruit salads. EW. I like it dried or by itself in rings. Not in chunks, in rings...then I can cut my own chunks up. OCD maybe? :D

Peace out yall, momma if you are reading this, a shout out to ya and I Mim u.

I know, and I think I would be good at it!

Hi Kasey,
Well, I'm sure now my comment went to space. What I had said was that I wondered what happened to your next door puppy...anything new? I was so hoping you could get him/her. And I, being the doggie nut that I am, am having fits over my neighbor about six houses down who has two dogs tied out to doghouses with no shade. They scrunch down next to the houses trying so hard to get some cover. I did talk to the lady and she said she tried three times to plant trees but that loose dogs would come and mess them up??? Anyway, some people around here use those big beach umbrellas and I asked her that if I could get her one (she's a very broke single mom), would she put it up between them...or at least try it and she said for sure. So I'm going hunting one maybe today. My husband would be willing to pay for it just to not have to hear me moan and cry (even silently) every time we have to pass them, which is every time we go in and out. Pray for me that it will work!
Love, Sis Julie

hi "brad's mom"! lol
I haven't seen nilah in a little bit, but the guy said if his cousing ever had to get rid of her he would call me. I just want her while she's still a puppy. I don't like keeping dogs tied out all the time, I think it teaches them to be mean cus they know they can never go farther than that line. Note I said, ALL the time. Poor doggies, I will pray for them. Maybe you could find two dog houses at a yard sale or go tell your local hardware store the need and see if they would donate.

Whoa! I love your background! I was sitting here searching for skins and backgrounds that work with blogspot and couldn't find them. Well these dogs do have doghouses but it's not enough shade and they are too hot to get into in the sun. One is a Sheltie mix with a dark coat. She just had pups and at least the lady found homes for them all. The umbrella would probably get blown over in the wind a lot but she has an 11 year old who could fix it. I don't know. It's tormenting isn't it? LOL...we're pitiful!

I don't see why you couldn't pick and chose your clients if it was your own business. I think it would be harder to get clients at first. I've thought about getting into something like that myself but had the same questions and the only thing I could come up with is if you own your own business.

Thanks Jenna! I lost my WHOLE contact list, had to redo FROM SCRATCH! Surprised I didn't have more errors than that!

Julie, maybe you could get them a bathtub and have water put in it. That shoudl help. And, check into the local shelters around there, here we have a shelter who will fix your animal for free if you fall into a certain income range. Might be somethign to prevent more puppies from this harsh already animal laden world. I would talk to the woman about dog kennels and put a tarp on top, then they could be free. For a dog that size it shouldn't cost more than 100 or so. Maybe you could help raise some money for them.

*****Disclaimer*****
*****My Personal Opinion*****

With that being warned.... you can't let other people's sin be your problem. If you did you would never be able to leave your house. They will be getting married whether you plan it or not. If doing that job meant you are supporting their decision then you would have to counsel EVERYONE whether their first marriage or not to see if they were making the decision God wants. Same if you work at Walmart. You would be ringing up condoms for people that shouldn't be using them. You would have to ring up beerm cigarettes... ya know.. And don't think just because it's a photo section you wont have to. If you have a few items and you are paying for film they let you check out back there. People have a choice... as long as you aren't the one giving the sinful choice you can't help what they pick. Do you understand what I am trying to say.... I could get so nit picky about thinks like that I never leave my house because there are men that lust after fat women and I might cause one of them to sin. How silly is that. As long as I am dressed modest I can't help what people choose. YOU live right, you can't make others.

Well, you asked for opinions. AND if it is THAT big a deal to ya... you could pick and choose since it would be your job. You will find though that most 2nd or 3rd marriages don't go all out like the 1st anyway. :P Whateva..

BTW... you need money for the show cause you will need a DRINK for all that food. :P

Hey Kasey...that's a definite thought...pens and tarps. She thinks it will be hard to mow there but the dogs are really wearing dirt spots anyway. That gave me some thoughts...thanks! Just cuz the umbrella works for the lady down the street (it's a crackup watching her Beagle lay under it), doesn't mean it would work here. One good wind...flooey!

I'm with Wendy on the wedding thing. You just can't control what people will do. But I also know how hard it would be for me to watch and be part of that. LOL...our pastor was so blown away when they went to the florist to order flowers for Sis. Becky's wedding. The man told them that this one lady had been married twice in six months and he did the flowers for both. (I thought divorces took a year but what do I know). Whether true or not, he was so worked up over that he has told it in church three times...ha!

Background is busy. Hard to read without being distracted by the background. I really have to focus. Sheesh.

Juls4Him said...

I agree that this background is harder to see the print but boy, oh boy, do I want to go there! That is MY kind of place (if it's deserted or just me & my hubby). I lived in Key West for a couple of years (real smart move but I wasn't saved) and I just went nuts over the clear water over the coral reef. I can just feel that breeze! I wish I had a computer brain so I could figure out these backgrounds without a tutor. Sigh.

hmmmmm....good food for thought (the wedding thing) I guess I could put a moral disclaimer.

Glad I could help on the dog thing Julie.

Lastly...which background, I just changed. You don't like this one?

Wendy, you're a hoot.

The other ocean one was easier to read but I love them both. I just found one and thought it was going to take on my blog and then ....after setting it all up...nothing! It's called try, try again.
