Wreck

I want to PUBLICLY thank the Lord for keeping us safe. We were involved in a wreck tonight coming home on Shute's Lane. It was approximately 7:30 and we were two miles from home. It was starting to get pretty bad, and I had just told Damon to be careful(because I was nervous). I had the thought, most wrecks occur within ten minutes of home. Well, we saw headlights coming across the line at us. He apparently had started to fishtale and lost control, he said he was coming head on and just shut his eyes (the guy who hit us). Damon, turned the wheel to the right and we were side swiped pretty bad. If he hadn't have turned the wheel it would have been head on. Jesus DEFINITELY took the wheel. Damon's truck is pretty much totaled and both vehicles had to be towed. Damon said if he had hit us head on and he hadn't turned the wheel (the LORD turned the wheel and we both know it!) that it would have been bad for both of us. No telling how bad the injuries COULD have been. But they WEREN'T! We were in his old truck that we had been slowly fixing up. It's kind of a bummer, because it is so bad now...we probably would be wasting our money to even try to fix it. They think there might be frame damage. Miraculously, no one needed an amubulance. I don't have any other explanation for it being such a serious wreck-and no injuries, than the LORD!

Another praise report, we are getting a REFUND on our taxes too! WOOHOO! This has been a hard and blessed day....weird. Thank You Jesus.
