It is SO official!

Drum Roll Please........

I have a NEW favorite drink!

VAULT ZERO! Yummmm- O!

Just thought I would share, bye now dears!

yo, adrian

Sup blog homies....okay, that might have sounded a bit nerdish. oh well. Ask those who know me, I am not refined, not quiet, and not dainty :) I am nerd, here me roar!

So I am somewhat bummed about this blogging thing lately. I am not getting very many comments. Some people blog to blog, I blog for response. If I don't get response, blogging is meaningless. I crave the interaction. Call me a craver.

I love my husband dearly, and I mean DEARLY! But sometimes, the man wants to make me climb curtains! *honey if you are reading somewhere, which I know you won't unless I show you here at work, but someday maybe you will read this, I say this with all the love in the world *SMILE** Sometimes I can't breath without upsetting him. You know how woman have PMS, I'm convinced men have it too. PMS stands for PUHLEEZE! MEN STINK! hehe...no, I am not a man basher. I love my man, a lot a lot a lot! He just needs male midol right now. HEHE.

Looking at a vacation destination next year. Man, we need to save some money to make this one happen!

I am starting a quick weeknight cooking series on the recipe blog. A recipe per day (cept on weekends) that is quick and yummy and home made!

Day two on my diet, lost some weight already! Go me! Thank you Lord!

Last night was going to be slow as predicted by Cali. Cali was wrong. We got slammed and people are determined to be slow in their brains when it comes closing time! LOL. For some reason, even though I put the hours sign directly in the middle of the right hand counter to show that we are closed, people still come up and ask about one hour photo and wanting to drop stuff off. I told Kerwyn, we need a huuge curtain that we can roll down at 8pm, that says CLOSED. Open for pick up only! Then when you tell them we are closed they get this dazed look! Bless her heart, this one older lady came up last night and asked me a few questions saying I was the one who had helped her before (neva seen the woman in my life!) I proceeded to kindly help her. She then starts to leave and turns back around and asks more questions, common sense questions. We went through this procedure about 5 times. I turned around to Kerwyn and was like YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! I know this isn't very Christian to act like that. Even if I AM aggrivated (which is bound to happen in life) I need to keep it to myself and act Godly about it! They will see the difference. You all could pray for patience for me at Wal-Mart.
I am off until Saturday. I work 8-5 saturday, off Sunday then...comes the big bad nasty really tired work a lot week! I work every night except tuesday from 5-9! Right before Idaho too! Oh my goodness, PANIC! I just realized! The shower is only...oh oh panic....paper bag please! THREE WEEKS! HELP!

gotta go! Need to write list!

Water Fall at Castle

Woe is my weekend

Okay.....GRRRR @Walmart! I in my one month at Wal-Mart have yet to miss a church service PTL! WELLLLL....that record came to a screeching halt this weekend. I was not scheduled to work this past Sunday, I get in Saturday morning at 11am and Tammy says "oh Jamison changed your schedule, you're working tomorrow" hahahaha...that's funny! *mean face* Now let me give you the pre lude to this conversation.

"Tammy, can morgan come over Saturday night?"asked Kasey
"let me think about it" Tammy said
*fast forward to Friday*
riiiing "Hello" said Chandler
"Can I speak to Tammy" asked Kasey
"Hello" said Tammy, "Hey, I was just wondering if Morgan was going to be able to come over" Said Kasey.
"yea, that sounds fine"

so in my brief and somewhat beginner narative, you find out I HAD plans *had is the operative word here* for Morgan to spend the night with me Saturday. I would meet Tam at the Church after work on Saturday to pick Morgan up. Well back to Saturday at Wal-mart. Once I heard the devastating and IRRITATING news... I called Tam. She said it was okay, but still, I am so bummed.

Sunday I worked 7-4 and by the time Evening service rolled around, sad to say...I didn't pay much attention. I was REALLY tired and my feet hurt REALLY bad. I'm sorry God :( Really I am.

Yesterday I woke up at 9am....WHOA! I haven't slept that late in I don't know how long. I lazily picked up the house and did some Laundry. I washed the bed linens. Took a shower and got ready for Damon to get home. We had plans to go to the Renaissance Festival. Damon finally got home a little after noon, he got cleaned up and then we went to Sonic on the way out to get somethign to eat. The Ren Fest was about an hour and 15mins away. I had to bartar with the man for him to take me...he said...if I go to this then you are goin to the Duke's Fest. He's nuts. Anyway, one condition of going was I had to pay. Well, awwww the sweet thing, he paid for us to get in. $15 a piece. Then once we got in and saw all the freaks...well people who need Jesus....we went and watched the Joust...man those horses were HUUUGE!

I can't remember if this is the horse, but one of them REALLY liked jousting! You could tell! They stuck their head down and ran full force with ears up all the way! It was cool!

Then we went and looked at the guy's house who sponsors the Ren Fest as well as owns the land it operates on. I guess I should Clarify, it really resembles more of a ....

...Castle!

That baby's pretty tall, now aint it! I have more pics...will post later.

Mom this is for you. Kroger had a sale going on coke products. 4/ 12packs for $10.00. This is what our kitchen looks like now *oh for storage to put thy filth away and keep my kitchen beautimous*

The Page Kids, Morgan, and Me!

*remember these are in NO particular order as they always load backwards. I tried to put all the page kiddos together...hmmm...guess that WOULD be a particular order. I digress.

This is me looking at Damon with those
"I love you" eyes...lol.

Morgan and Emily. awwww.

I happen to think this is a cool picture! I had just took Rachel's picture and it was blurry so I deleted it and was trying again, she was talking to me and in the pic she is looking at me with those eyes like "you better hurry up!" lol Don't be mad Rachel, I really think this is cute!
Oh yeah, this is Sepia Tone

Another Sepia tone, my tree picture. Took this in the car as we were driving by. Thought it looked pretty cool the way the sunlight is hitting it!

This is Silas, and his teeth. CHEEESE!

Toby begged me to let him take a "silly" picture, I think that's what he called it. Anyway, here he is!

(these are all Sepia)

This is Allie. This is the look I am getting when I am trying to get her to smile. No smile, but those eyes are classic!

This is Allie again, she does this thing with her eyes. Creeps me out, but funny too!

This is the face I got form Caetie when I told her to think about Erika!

I don't normally like pics of myself. But I DO like this one!

An Itch

I am getting an itch to can. I want to do canning!
NEED PRESSURE COOKER!
I want to can anything can-able.
Any experienced canners out there, advice appreciated!

Made homemade lasagna last night, was okay, not overly flavorful. Still working on it though.

Want to get a sewing machine. Want to sew stuff...maybe make a quilt. Man would that make my grandma happy!

Planning bridal shower...its coming together MT!

I was going to say something else, seems to have left my brain though. Go figure.

Tonight is gleaners, and I am designated helper tonight! No craft, no lesson! yay! Not that I don't like to do those things, just take some amount of pressure off!

Damon has Winston today, my poor baby!

We leave for Idaho in *pause for calendar count* 22 days! Yee haw!

I got the opportunity to talk (via MSN) to one of my former class mates yesterday, so Matt shout out to ya if you are reading. He works with my mom now. Interesting to find out how others I went to school with (basically from Kindergarten) have changed and where they are at in their lives right now. Man, this makes me feel old.

Well, church tonight, work tomorrow. BYE!

I will start off by saying I am not into much of a blogging mood, thus this will be a short post.

Firstly, American Idol. What think ye? If it were to be judged by last night's performance alone, Taylor would have it. HANDS DOWN. The man rocked the stage. I thought Katherine looked and sounded great in the first song. Second song, I thought she sounded a bit nasally in parts but overall good. The last song...The dress was...TIIIIGHT, I didn't like it at all! I didn't really like the song either. For some reason she is still here, so that means she has a fan base. I HOPE she doesn't win. I tried to get through last night to vote for Taylor. I had all three #'s on my phone and tried from 8-10, all busy. Damon however got through for him. GO FIGURE! Seriously, Taylor was great last night! He plans on residing in Nashville after this too! Sup Cashville!

I am sorta down about something, if y'all want to, remember to pray for me.

Have a great day!

Graduate

This is my nephew Noah, he graduated from preschool today. They wore (as you can see) full graduation garb. Cap, gown, AND tassel! Congratulations Buddy! My gift to him was a kiss. He loves those from his Aunt Kasey whom he wants to marry and has said he would get a job to support me :) lol

This isn't the best pic, but this is the chandelier that was in the sanctuary hall where the Graduation was held.

These are the stained glass windows in the church sanctuary where the graduation was held.

New Pictures

These aren't scenery pics, just some that I took at church or on the way to church. :)

Good Monday Morning to ya....

It's Monday, It's raining, and most importantly, it's a great day to be alive!

Woke up late, haha..Because my hubby and I decided to watch Iron Chef at 11:30 something at night. Well we started watching it around 11ish, but I digress. Back to the story, I woke up at 5:45 (after hitting the snooze several times) and decided to pray while laying there in bed. Was actually kind of nice to wake up and start my day in prayer without even really moving. I did roll over so I could sorta (using that term loosely) be on my knees :D

Saturday was a loooooong day! Had to be at the vet in Mt.Juliet by 9am to get Honey and Tigger back up to date on vaccinations (for tigger) and heartworm meds (for honey). With honey's 3 month refill, it was $100.00 even. Wowza, there goes those 5 twenty dollar bills. Poor Honey, they had to stick her little arm 4 times to find blood to draw. If you have seen my dog in person you would know why this breaks my wittle heart so much. She weighs all of 5 lbs and was shaking like nobodys business and looking at me with her big brown eyes like "you are a horrible momma, why are you letting them hurt me?" However, after leaving she saw a motorcycle and went nuts (she barks to no end when those things go by, she hates'em) then was fine. After that I went back home and cleaned house. Then I relaxed and got ready for work. Worked a 12-9 shift at Wally World. Man.... 12-3 was so busy, yet it was DRAGGING. I called Damon and asked him to pray that the day would speed up because I did not have the energy to deal with it that day. Sho nuff, first break then bam it was my lunch hour, next thing ya know its 9 at night and I am heading to clock out! Thank the Lord!

Sunday was an especially good day. Sunday school was interesting, I sang that morning, then the most important part the, the Message and God moving so powerfully! Altars started to fill, and God was very encouraging and healing that day. Then last night we had a study on Wine based on Brother Smith's message in The Evening Light awhile back, it was GREAT! I had lots of fun last night. Did I mention after eating Fat Mo's for lunch that I EVEN got a nap. AND...*drum roll* like a real wife and a good one too, we went GROCERY SHOPPING! WOOOOHOOO! It's been three weeks! We spent 73 bucks and I got the stuff to do lasagna, stir fry, crockpot meal stuff, and our breakfast and lunch supplies. Since I am only home three nights a week anymore, I only got stuff to cook for those three nights. Because, my weird (gotta love him) husband will not eat stuff that is prepared and frozen for him, so he can heat up. Nor will he eat left overs unless it is the very next day after they were made. Knowing this, he and I spend my breaks together and usually eat at Mcdonalds (healthy I know) So, I didn't buy food for these days (dinner meal).

I want kids, but Damon wants to wait a little longer. We both have really nice vehicles thank the Lord, but they come with really nice payments too. When I was buying my car, I really felt the Lord was in it. I don't know why, and maybe I didn't really hear His voice, but maybe I did. I can't second guess now. It may sound weird, but I felt to buy brand new, and it was either to be a Toyota camery or a Chevy Impala. I test drove the Ford 500, but I couldn't shake the "no" feeling. Found out later over 100,000 were on recall. Anyway, the payment thing has been hard to adjust to. And, with this payment (and damon's), we do not have enough money to buy a home. Not just any home, but a home with atleast a half acre so I can keep my horse. I would prefer atleast ONE acre. Finding a house with this (a decent house) is going to run us about 115k in the Nashville area. We can afford 80k tops. You see my dilema. Damon doesn't want kids until we have a house. I can understand, but for some reason I am getting the baby itch. We have thought and talked about names. He wants a girl first, I am kinda leaning toward a boy. Hey, we could have twins one boy and one girl and knock it all out at one time! lol...he only wants two kids. I don't wanna wait the 3-5 years he is talking. We have already been married two. I want a house, I want my horse with me, and I want kids. hehe...don't want much do I. I know God rewards us the desires of our heart, we just have to figure out what to desire. If that makes sense. God, in a miracle, could make all these things happen for me. But most importantly above all else I want God, and I want the grace in the waiting. The names we were talking about yesterday were: for a boy...Emmett, and for a girl, Mae. I like old fashioned names. I like Rose, Ruthie, Emma, Mae, Loris, Denver, Presley, Kent, Wilson, Taylor, Beth, Caroline or Carolina, and the list goes on. No stealing Rachel, hehehe.

OH YEAH! Friday night Damon and I went on a "date". I wanted BBQ for some reason, so we went to Famous Dave's. Guess what! I had ribs!! I am such a finicky and picky eater. If I see a tiny bit of fat I will cut it off then eat the meat. I thought, you know Kasey, you are such a chicken and you have wanted to break and try ribs, JUST DO IT! So I did. I got a regular size order (4 big ribs), corn on the cob, corn bread, baked beans, spiced apples. Yummy! Mainly I was so proud of myself that I actually ate meat OFF A BONE! WOOHOO go meeeee! Claps for Kasey!

Have a good day!

More pictures and one mishap

This is Salty, my beautiful horse. I started riding her when I was two. I rodeoed on her, queened, paraded, buzzed, everything, she was the best horse I have ever had or will ever have. I was 11 or 12 in this picture, she was 14 or 15. In her prime. Isn't she beatufiul? Salty got injured and had to be put down after I moved when I got married. It broke my heart, I felt like I left her and couldn't even be there to hold her as she left this world. She was my best friend when I had no one else to talk to. I fell asleep on her as a little girl and she would just stand there. I know this may sound silly, but I hope God has her for me in heaven. Who knows, we may not care about that, but He knows my heart (crying now). I love you High Quench, aka my Salty.

My nose to pointy? man..... but my teeth look white :p thats a plus! hehe

Hmmmmm.......I don't think I like my bangs in this one. Ewww.....

I messed up at Wal-Mart last night :( I know I am new, but I still hate messing up. I hope I don't get in trouble. I didn't price the pictures right and charge the woman almost twenty dollars to much. She had gotten two rolls of doubles. I charged her for four rolls of singles. *sigh*. Skeered. Damon says if they are going to fire me over that, then they aren't worth working for. I hope Jamison doesn't find out.

Have tonight off! Goin on a daaate! YIPPEY!

Tomorrow is vet day and Wal-Mart. I have to be at the vet in Mt. Juliet at 9am for Tigger's yearly vaccinations and Honey's heart worm test so that she can be renewed on her heart worm medicine. I hate that TN has heart worms. YUCK! Idaho doesn't!

Anyway, as Emily D. would say..."I'm out"

Drum Roll PLEEASE! Winston's first pics!

(for some ODD reason, the lace background from my blog is showing in the pictures. I have no idea why! Grrrr! But just click on them to see how they really look, MINUS the dumb lace background. Again, grrrrrrr!)
Honeys "sup daaawg?" look (bad red eye:( )
Cool Leaf pic #3
New Drum Set at Church.
Cool leaf pic # 2 (so I like to take pictures of leaves, give me a break:)

Cool Leaf Picture #1
My puppy wuppy, Honey Lynn Broyles

Now, why these posted backwards, I have no idea. Emily was the first pic I loaded, but it shows up last. Anyway, here are some of the pics I took. Hope you enjoy!

BTI...Woe is me

I don't think I wanna read about BTI anymore....I am getting seriously bummed that I am not there. Don't get married young people, soon as you do all your outside contact is gone. And those you do have contact with that aren't married think you are the plague and don't wanna come around you. Okay, so I am kidding...to some degree :p
To top all this off, I miss Gracie, and Wendy. All alone...walls closing in....can't...breeathe. :p

hmmm...

Last night was interesting. I weighed at curves. Was disappointed and happy all at the same time. I have only lost two lbs, and 1.75 inches. However, atleast I have lost something. I know I can lose much faster, so that means I am not trying.

After I got home, I quickly watched the taped AI episode from Tuesday so I could retape over it the kick off session. I am really bummed for Elliott. I sooo do not want Katharine to win anymore. She does have a good voice, I just think she's gotten full of herself. Things aren't always what they seem though. I just know she cussed on her interview answers, kinda disappoints me. I HOPE Taylor wins. I am calling and voting on my way home from work next week. I don't care if he falls flat on his face, I am voting for him. He's been one of my favorites for a long time.

I took Winston to church last night, he met a lot of the people. He felt quit comfy with all of them. I took the most AMAZING picture of Miss Morgan. I am gonna make a 5X7 at Wal-Mart tonight and give to Tammy. Sis Leslei even said it was VERY good. She looks like a model. I don't know how I captured it so good, to be honest. I just focused, then took the shot. That was it. But it turned out amazing!

I am working in the back this quarter with the Gleaners. If you knew a little boy from our church named Sloan, you would know why this next story affected me so much. The boy was quiet almost all night long! I felt so bad for him, he looks PITIFUL! Made me sad. His best friend is moving. Sloan never wants to sit still, never wants to be quiet. He's like a ball of energy. Gotta love him, but he is just one that wears you out, but not last night. We prayed for his friend and he wrote a letter last night to his friend and is going to give it to him today I would guess. The poor kid, pray for him, he is truly broken hearted and it is so so sad to see.

Talked to Kim last night about the grad. party. She gave me my budget and I told her the food we had decided on. We don't have enough money for pizza, she said something about doing sandwiches and stuff. I am gonna ask her Sunday if maybe we could request that anyone who comes brings 2-3 dollars for pizza, because I really want to get David the things he likes. Anyway, hopefully she says yes.

I ordered the shower favors yesterday. They are candy bar wrappers (like for Hersheys Bars) that say stuff about love, then you tie them with personalized ribbons. I ordered Peach colored ribbons to match the bright tropical theme, and ordered the script to say Sylvia's Aloha Shower with the date. I hope she likes them. I would have liked them at my shower, they are really cool! Plus, almost all women like chocolate, soooo... :)

Well anyway, pray for BTI, Presbytery, me, you, ummm anything else! Most importantly, thank God today, He is a loving and beautiful God!

Aloha

Well, I am really starting to kick into "high gear" with this shower planning. I have my games decided, my food decided, my favors decided (and ordered), my centerpieces decided (and spoke with florist/close friend, taking care of), have the punch decided, have almost everything decided and nailed down. Now I just need to buy buy buy, and continue looking for great deals. Mom if you are reading take this next statement in the best way hehe. My momma has tought me to be frugal, she calls it "cheap". Even if you have the money why spend all of it when you can get a better deal! Well, I am not AS cheap as my mom, but I do like to look for the best deal, ESPECIALLY when my husband breathes down my throat *so to say* about what I spend. I am a frugal spender, but thank the Lord, Damon has been soooo good about this shower shopping. He has hardly fussed at me (he's very money concious, worse than momma!) I say all that to say (lotta saying) that I am excited but still need to find the good deal on the things I have outlined to buy. This may seem a silly request, but please pray I find good deals.

I been taking pictures today, yay!

My dog, who want's to die...okay not really, but she made me soooo mad. Know why, she spilled my drink in the floor of my car. My 2006, drove off the lot, first ever brand new, car. Yeah...*sigh*. Oh well, I cleaned it up and we made up. hehe

Found out my schedule for the next week at Wal-Mart. I work this Thursday 5-9, Friday off, Saturday 12-9, Sunday Off, Monday 5-9, Tuesday off, Wednesday Off, Thursday 5-9, and Friday 5-9. They gave me all church days COMPLETELY off! WOW. When I intereview he told me he would have to work me an occassional Sunday, but so far, so good!

I need to continue planning the Graduation party. Once I get $$$ I can start shopping for stuff.

This is on my heart, so I am gonna request it. There is a young woman I know who needs the Lord. She has turned her back from Him and her Family. It's a long story, she is broken hearted, but she can't go into the world of sin like this. Please please please pray for her. We are sorta kinda not really related, she used to go to church but has now left, however now I work with her and see her. It is so sad, it really hurts. I love her, I pray for her, I don't know what to do but pray. I don't want her to die lost. Pray for her Broken Heart...it's the cause of all this, and I can't begin to understand how hurt she is. But she needs to let Jesus fix her, not the world.

love to you all, and HI PAUL! You are in Arizona!

Proud Mother

Winston is beautiful! He takes great pictures and he and I are learning together! Okay...maybe I need to stop with this now. It is free entertainment though, right?

I took some GREAT pictures already. I really have an interest for cool pictures that depict things, a story, and sometimes just close ups of objects that I think are neat. I don't want my photos to look like another boring "webshots" choice. There are 1 in 10 that are great, I'd like to acheive that "1".

I will be taking it to church tonight to get pictures of the kids and probably make a picture CD at home since Damon won't let me have internet at home *pout*. He makes me choose, food network or internet. Now, I am not a big TV watcher, but when I do watch, I wanna be able to watch Paula Deen and she is NOT on regular TV. Grrrr...

Short blog today...I may blog later...irritated at a dishonest company that my company deals with. FRUSTRATING.

I am getting weighed and measured tonight at curves *nervous smile* we will see what they say.

Peace out Bloggers

Delivery is sure hard

I have heard Labor is hard work, but the UPS man finely made my stork delivery at 12:42 pm. Winston my child, I can hardly count the moment until your mommy sees your sweet fac...uhhh Lense.

*dreamy sigh*

I'm so proud.

LOOKEY LOOKEY

Look what I found!!!

It's on close out at Macy's for only $14.97! Can we say HOLLAH! I wanted to do Fondue for the shower (or a chocolate fountain, but woooeee, expensive) and I thought to look at Macy's cus' I remembered them having some good deals on the fondue pots when I used to work there (formerly "The Bon Marche") but no...go against my gut and I looked elsewhere. Finally I looked where I originally thought to look and BAM, there she lay! I'm calling my mom's local store upon opening to see if they have any IN stock. If not then via interenet, HERE I COME!

UPS LOVES ME!

Guess what!

ARRIVAL SCAN

know what that means? My camera baby is ALMOST HOME! *excited clap* Only bad part is, I won't get home til after 9pm tonight to see it! Poor little Winston. Yes, I have changed it from being a Girl to now a boy and his name is Winston. I name all things I cherish. My truck was Helen. My Husband is Damon...Oh wait...I didn't name him *scratches head*, well you get the picture! Anyway, this is rather convenient, because I get paid tomorrow and Thursday. Camera Bag and SD Card, HERE I COME! Will be nice to get discount too!

My husband has gone nuts for vitamins! Who woulda thought it! *shakes head* He now carries around his vitamin bag to make sure he takes them at all the right times. He's already talking to Sister Torrence about his next month's supply. He's gone weird on me! Who are you Damon and where have you taken my husband?! hehe

Rachel, in response to your comment about helping with the party for David T. Yes, help would be appreciated! I am somewhat of a control freak *no comments from the peanut gallery please* and I don't like to relinquish things for two reasons. A) I want all the praise (how selfish) and B) I want to make sure things are done to my too high standards. However, this will be good medicine, so to say, for me to swallow *grin*. Will talk to you at church tomorrow. I have gleaners *yipes, need to prepare craft, worried look* so we will have to talk before church or after. I prefer before now that I need to get to bed at a decent time. If you think you aren't goin to be there, call me.

I am a good girl! I went to curves last night, and some how I have lost weight. I dunno how but I have. I'm not complaining! Oh and I have a new food fascination....terriyaki sauce. Oh my word! YUM! There is this place in Idaho called Beefy's, it's on the north side and you could totally miss it if you weren't a local. They, in my book, are known for two things. Fry Sauce (YUMMMMM-OOO) and Terriyaki Chicken. *dreamy sigh for the above mentioned foods* I am somewhat weird and picky with my food, though you'd never guess it by my dress size, anywho....I sometimes wonder if the chicken used in Asian restaurants or in Asian dishes are really chicken. It just has a different texture. SOOOO...I don't eat the chicken but LOOOOVe the flavor so I take the rice that came with the chicken terriyaki meal and douse it with MORE terriyaki sauce then (here comes the weird part) take the small side salad that comes with the meal and mix it IN with my rice and top that with ranch dressing. There is something about the combination of salad, rice, terriyaki sauce, and ranch that REALLY taste good to me.

I gotta work tonight, I know that I am not working with two of my preferred people to work with (Tiffany and Cali) so I am kind of stressing about it. Pray for me!
Cya!

Chronicles of Narnia....No, I mean Kasey

I need to update for the weekend.

Friday night was work, I had fun and actually thought how I really liked my second job. Saturday was an all together notha' story. I don't want this to sound mean, but there are some people I enjoy working with, there are others I don't. The main reason I don't enjoy working with some, is that they make me feel uncomfy, like they are watching me and I am not doing good enough. Or, they are just no help at all and I am skeered to ask for help and I HATE to stand around and not be doing anything. I enjoy working with Tiffancy, Kerwyn, Cali, and about 50/50 of the time, Brandon. Those I do not really enjoy working with are Elizabeth and Sharon. Sharon has gotten better though. We were REALLY busy that morning (I didn't have to be in till 11am...wooooeeee can we say SLEEPIN IN!) and things tapered off in the early afternoon. THEN the computer froze, you know...the computer that sends EVERYTHING to the printer. Hahahah....no really, its funny.... *note sarcasm* So then we got MAJORLY backlogged. Needless to say, by the time I left around 8:30 that night, my feet hurt baaaaaad.

I had Sunday completley off, we had a good Sunday School class, and to be honest I didn't get much of the Sunday morning service because well...I was helping Megan. Poor girl, all alone in the back!

I found out some very helpful information about Bro David T and what he likes, to use for his graduation party. His favorite foods are very simple! He likes things simple. For dinner we will have Papa Johns meat lovers pizza, for dessert Chess Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream. That is what he likes, he doesnt like cake and frosting, and he doesn't like any other kind of ice cream but vanilla (according to sis torrence). His school colors are Green and Gold and he looves Music. So I'm set. Just gotta put it all together now. In two weeks. :) Well...three.

I get my first wal-mart check this Thursday. WOOHOO! *sings* money money moneeeey, MONEY!

Got my puppies plane ticket purchased, as well as her carrier. Great sale at petsmart! WOOHOO! Two things off my list.

Y'all could pray for me, I came in late to work today, AGAIN! I have been having severe stomach pains off and on for about a week now. I don't know what it is. It's starting to concern me. Please pray for me.

Got my list all sorted out from orientel Traders for shower items. Hopefully I can purchase it this Thursday!

BBQ sounds good today, so I am off to get lunch at 11:30!
Have a blessed manic monday!

7-9 days my love, then you shall be mine *dreamy sigh*

While working last night and returning from break (which my hubby had come to share break with me...awwwww) I stopped and showed Damon my camera. They have a model there where I work, he liked it! I'm soooooooo excited. YEEEHAAAW!

Okay, well I had a true God moment yesterday. A God moment is when God reallllly comes on the scene and you can totally FEEL Him RIGHT THERE! Wanna know where I was...in my car! It's so funny, I always feel the Lord really strongly right when I need it, when I am driving. (well not always, but a lot of times) What brought this God moment is about is, I was driving home last night from Wally World, and realized I had prayed that last night would not be to busy. Well, God answered my prayer and last night was very even paced and enjoyable. (for the most part) I then thought about another small prayer request I had made to Him that He had answered. I thought God you are sooo with me! Then the God Moment happened. Love that! Thank You Jesus!

MT and Sis Smith, I am making my list this morning. I am a list person anyway, so the list was in the makings. :)

Sis Rebekah, I thought (if you are reading) that you would like to know I have been forced to begin wearing socks regularly *shudder* due to work and having to wear close-toed shoes. *gags* socks...ew....

I think I am allergic to my perfume. It's making me sneeze. It's called Design, you normally find it in a dept. store like Dillards or Macys, I however got mine at a flea market in Florida last year. Anyway...it's makin me sneeze.

I stopped and got a Starbucks this morning, YUMMMM-OOOO Can we say White Chocolate Mocha!

Thank you Jesus for today, thank You for THE Church of God. Lets remember to pray for the Pruitt family right now!

Thought for the day- Donuts are SO worth the calories.

Okay....

Still joyful about camera, however overwhelmization is officially setting in *scratches head and wonders if that is a word* I am beginning to feel like a mix of Gracie, Momma Tammy, and Sister Smith. If thats a mix :p

Here is a list of what I have to do before I go to Idaho, AND in between two jobs.
*disclaimer- I am VERY much a perfectionist, and very much have a caviar taste on a captain D's budget*

Plan Bridal Shower for the wedding I am in, IN Idaho. i.e. games, food, set up, decorations. *pulling hair out*
Purchase everything (with the exception of food) for shower in Idaho.
(as of last night) Plan Bro. David T ( a local VLB) Graduation Party at the church for the first Sunday in June.
Purchase deocorations/food/misc. for party
Enroll in direct deposit at Wal-Mart
Buy Honey's Plane ticket
Lose 35 lbs *sigh*
Get Measurments mailed to Idaho for Bridesmaid dress (gag) I hate measurin' my fatness.
I'm forgetting something...I know I am....seeeeeeee I NEED a list.

And...I am worrying about the logistics of my finances, paycheck dates, car payment DUE dates, other things.

I cancelled my bridge, Damon and I agreed we just couldn't come up with the 800 right now, so I rescheduled it for mid August.

Oh yeah, save money for Idaho trip.

This wouldn't be so hard if I only had my monday through Friday job, and I am thankful for the extra Wal-Mart income right now. The main thing is it is only temporary, probably will only work it about a month or two after I get back in June. Want to put some money in savings. I feel like my house is a mess (I am a major clean freak), I am a bad wife beacause I hardly cook anymore, I am paying my monthly curves fee and hardly have the time to go! Oh yeah...I am in gleaners this quarter so I have lessons/craft/snacks...whichever week we are on. I am not complaining...I am just realizing all that I have to do...and the walls are closing in. Pray for me!

Thought for the day~ I wonder why Wal-mart has grumpy managers.

*jumping for joy*

Ooooh oooh oooh! I am so excited! Guess what my momma just helped to buy me for my birthday?!?!?!?! Check it out!
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4722901
Anybody wanna know how excited I am?! I am soooo excited! I get it in 7-9 days! YEEHAW! Now all I need to get is a bigger memory card and a case for it! I already have two memory cards and rechargeable batteries. So, I am set on that! Thanks Momma...I mim you!

Hi Gracie! Love you girl!

Ummm...gleaners went good last night, I love kids. They are so fun, and pure, and innocent, and just a joy to life!

Going to curves tonight after work and before work...hehe...if that makes sense! I have to work tonight 5-9. I am again, scared AND excited. I am so skeered I will not know how to do something or do it wrong or not be any help! Tonight though, I am buying a note pad on the way in and I will write down EVERY single step to closing down! Go me!

Thank you Jesus! WOOHOO! Thank you for EVERYTHING! Thank You for just being YOU! WOOHOO

Wal-Mart...WHOA!

Last night was BUSY in the photo lab! WOW! I even got left alone *shreek*! However, I prayed and thank the Lord, I made it through! I worked with an awesome teacher/co worker. His name is Cali (kinda weird name if you ask me, but sorta cool cus it's unique). He is worlds different than the other people I worked for. I actually was shown how to do things, rather than figuring it out on my own and he treated the customers like they mattered. I was beginning to wonder if the photo dept. was a joke! But he was nice to work with! After 7 it was only the two of us, and we were slammed. He even said we were busy! I found my camera I wanna buy too! Hopefully I can buy it before we come to Idaho. It's a Kodak with optical zoom and 5 mega pixels, they want $298 for it. He showed it to me last night and did the zoom feature, was amazing! Hopefully God will make a way for me to get it before we take our trip. That would be amazing! The only other big thing I wanna get while working at wal-mart is a sewing machine, the rest is gravy. Anyway, back to the photo lab, I had fun though I was woooore out! And, the best part *not sarcasm* Damon had dropped me off just because we wanted to spend some time together before I had to go to work. He was going to a side job to give a price quote and possibly paint and then was to pick me up at 9pm when I got off. Dumby me forgot BOTH of my cell phones. You would think with two that I could remember one, newp! Anyway...I paced and paced...9:10...9:20....9:30... NO DAMON! Thankfully my sister in law works there and was getting off early so she took me home at 10. Damon had worked late at the side job. I was fuming mad, but since I forgot my cell phone, and he had tried and tried to get a hold of me, AND he didn't mean to...needless to say, I got over it. Long story short, I love working back in photo. It's really fun and challenges the brain and you get to deal with people. I miss people. I want to be a light to my co workers too. My schedule this week is, Today (wed) off...for church. Thurs and Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 11-8 *whew*, Sunday and Monday- Off *whoa! Tuesday 5-9pm, Wed- off, Thursday 5-9 pm and that is all I have so far. Hopefully the Lord works it out where I am able to work with Cali more than the others, because he actually works and treats people well. It takes a HUGE load off of me to have someone you can trust working with you. There is one draw back I haven't mentioned with all this working...I don't cook anymore. We have been reduced to fast food! Sigh...maybe once I get my schedule ironed out we can work on that! Can you tell I'm excited...I have missed people...that may sound odd...but when you work by yourself pretty much and you are a major people person, you MISS people! Jesus help me to be a light.

Pray for Damon, he's home sick with his asthma. It came on QUICK last night, like all of the sudden. I have never seen it do that before, worries me. Jesus hold his hand.

History

Good Morning everybuddy :p ( I know that it's really spelled, everybody, don't worry)

Guess what I brought to work with me today? No guesses? I brought my reprinted word for word, exact replica of the 1953 Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook! In a few weeks we will REALLY be picking up so I am going to take the chance while I have it, to look through the recipes some more. I have a great interest in days gone by, whether it be cooking, my family history, or just the time period. I LOVE history! My main fascination comes from the days of my parents child hood or the time period of my grandparents young adulthood. I guess from the 1940-early 1960's is my main period of interest. I love the way the women dressed, they always looks so proper and pretty, but still modest. I loved the way they cooked back then, the importance of family, the way they decorated their houses. I just LOOOVE that time period. That brings me back to why I have the 1953 reprint of the cookbook. My grandmother gave me the very cookbook my grandpa got her after they got married in 1947, what an honor! I am so pleased to have it! It has so many memories in those pages! I know this may sound gross, but there is food on the pages that is over 50 years old and it makes me think that came from my momma's childhood. It's such a wonderful feeling. I wish my grandpa would have lived long enough to meet Damon. *sigh* if I could go back to that time period or my childhood. I love love love history.

I left work about 20 minutes early yesterday and called in sick to Wal-Mart...I know...great thing to do on your second week. I don't know what happened, I think I may have over loaded my system between vitamins and and extra strength bear for my headache. *which never went away till I went home and slept for several hours* Not only did I have a headache but on the way home my stomach and back area started hurting very badly. I couldn't tell whether I needed to throw up or...well...you get the idea. Anyway, after much sleep and revitilization I feel MUCH better today! Thank you Jesus! I am going into curves after work and then to Wal-mart after that!

Started over on my diet today, thank you Gracie for your prayers, I feel really motivated today! I'm going to succeed!

I had a good prayer with my hubby last night, was good to pray to the Lord like that. This may sound bad, but we do our devotions (small as our 2 person family is) at night before bed. I was still recovering from being sick, and he didn't want to get up so we were both to lazy to turn the light on to read. But then something happened, he said quote a scripture, so I quoted Matthew 5:16 (one of my favorites) and I told him to quote one. It was kind of fun, almost better then reading because it challenged us to REMEMBER the Word, not just read it. I had fun, even if, in theory the reason for the game started out in a bad way (being lazy).

Well, keep me in your prayers today...will be a long day. Started at 5:45 will get home after 9:00.
Oh....and I even got my Mother's Day Card for momma made! In the mail even!

My Eventful Weekend

Good Monday Morning!

Friday night Damon took me out to Sonic then we went to visit Bradley in the hospital. He looks GREAT! All he needs to do now is wake up! Keep the prayers going up! He should be going home within two weeks, his Uncle Rick strongly believes Bradley will wake up before then. But, Rick is open to whatever God has in store!

Before I get into what we did Saturday...I will say, I have felt like God hasn't been answering my prayers lately. I made a little prayer request that we would have enough money to go to this even on Saturday. Not only did we have enough, we had EXTRA! The event...drag racing! It's not like a big race you see on TV...nothin like that. This is a straight drag strip with cars in different classes competing for the fastest time. The reason we went is because Damon's Uncle owns a car and his cousin races it. He took 3rd in his class. We only stayed for qualifiers on Saturday, the Races for placing were Sunday, but we wanted to get home for church. Keith races a 69' Superbee, in the last qualifier we saw he ran a 12.08 at 112 mph I think. AWESOME. And Gracie...I was the Lobster this weekend. I brought sun screen, but I really didn't want to put it on to early because I wanted to get some sun. Well, much to my dismay the bleachers were covered, all shade. Somehow though, from car to bleachers, to car show and back I got sun, A LOT of sun. I was RED! Today it has calmed down a lot and I look much better. Back to the weekend. There were sooo many cars! I was very impressed with the atmosphere though, sometimes those things can be kind of bad, which governs when and where I go, but this one was very clean. I was pretty impressed! And, I got me a funnel cake......mmmmmmm and Chili Cheese fries....more mmmmmmm! I know, not diet food, but it was goood! After the races we went out to eat at O'Charleys....those rolls, they kill me they are so good! I got dessert that was AMAZING, don't remember what it was though. Some caramel chunk thing in ice cream. It was sooo good! I couldn't finish half though, I was so full! It was about 9pm, so we headed home.

Sunday, went to church, GREAT service. The Lord was very present. Then we went to Big Apple Chinese Buffet, YUMMY! Lo-Mein rocks! Oh and they had these coconut shrimp...yikes, never had those like that, they were soooo good! I had seconds of those! I wish I could cook chinese stuff! Then we went home and I don't know but we must have been tired, we didn't wake up till 4:40! Church starts at 5! Yeah...we were late! After Service about 20 of us went to Cracker Barrel for dessert. Crystal was unusually talkative, was kind of weird but cool! Never seen her interact so much! We are going to go hiking, I told her to be nicer to me than Megan though. Meg I saw the pictures...you poor thing! Anyway, I had some apple dumpling thing. I didn't eat it all, but it was GOOOOOOD! Only problem was we had to wait an hour for our food! GRRRR

Well that was my weekend, pray for me, I woke up really tired this morning. I have a headache and I don't want to go to my second job. I don't know how some people do it, other than not having a choice. Maybe it's cus I am a girl and not meant to be the bread winner, maybe it's cus I'm lazy, I don't know, but I am finding this second job thing VERY VERY hard.

I guess I shall post

It is with much sadness that I regretfully inform you that Mandie has left the blogging world. Though temporary as it may be, her departure has cause me much grief over these few hours. So my dear readers, please take a moment of silence in rememberance of the computer she once typed upon.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Ever have a day where you feel pretty? Stellar as Gracie would say? Today is my day to feel "hot". I guess that might be silly to say as I am so chunkily over weight, or as my husband says "luciously plump" *sigh*. But today I feel pretty, I think there's a song with that title. "I feel pretty, Oh so pretty, and witty and gay (happy)". Nice to feel this way every once in a while!

Gracie I dedicate this song to you...
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away"
Love you girly, chin up!

And, Sister Smith...if you read this, will you please send your e-mail address to my email (sgrplum1@hotmail.com) so I can send you an invitation to the recipe blog. I KNOW you know how to cook, you have me salivating when you describe your food...unless you don't want to join...I understand...but PLEASE...want me to beg? *this is me getting on my knees* OH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE!

Today is a good day, a better day than the last.

I woke up this morning to the sound of my alarm and realized by the time I saw on the clock that I had slept through the WHOLE night. *amazed* I think I had dreams, but I can't remember them so I really must have been sleeping good! The odd thing is, I am tired right now :) hehe. Oh well.

Last night I went grocery shopping and kitty food shopping. Lots of deals! I found Fancy Feast Dry Cat Food...the normally expensive stuff (I think Tigger has been getting tired of Meow Mix so I decided to change it up, and to think it I got anything BUT Meow Mix before he wouldn't eat it!) was 5.00 for a 7 lb bag! The cheap Wal-Mart Brand in that size for like 5.27! Anyway...I double checked the tag on the shelf and yup, said it was 5bucks for the 7lb bag, so that bag was now giving company to MY cart! Poor Damon...:) I spent almost $70 on groceries (I used my discount for the first time, woohoo!) and it was almost ALL health food!

I have to work at Wal-Mart tonight, this will be my first night on the floor training! I am nervous yet excited. I think working in the photo lab will be fun and the hours will be A LOT better on the pillow (for sleepy time) than being elsewhere! I think I may go in early to finish up some more of my CBL's aka tests. Get this...After I work tonight I have the WHOLE weekend off! Friday-Sunday! That RARELY happens! Sweet! Poor Damon, in the above paragraph I talked about buying mostly health food...Well I mainly bought stuff for my breakfast and lunch (I am on the curves diet, went by their grocery list) and snacks. Because I will be working during most evenings now, I got him some pizzas to bake. The boy will NOT let me cook stuff, then freeze it for him, to re heat later on for a good home cooked meal! AND, if I make something, he will only eat it one day after it has originally been cooked. Anything more (2-3 days) he won't touch! Now I don't expect him to eat week old Hamburger Helper but...Man...This Man is difficult! So, I can't pre make food to take care of him, AND...I have a funny feeling we will be eating at McDonald's a lot. There is a Mickey D's in the wal-mart where I work, because I work in Photo and they close earlier than everyone else, I won't be eligible for a lunch break (you have to work a 6hour shift for a lunch). I will get a 15 minute break and from the way Damon sounds, he will be meeting me for my breaks to spend time with me. It's kind of sweet and sad at the same time. The first night I was gone at work, my momma had called or he had called her, not sure...She said he missed me. If you know Damon he is NOT a "misser". Even when we were dating 2000 miles away from each other, he rarely missed me. Now I'm gone one evening and he misses me, my poor baby. It felt good to be missed though. ANYWAY, back to McDonald's...I asked him last night if we were going to have to start a McDonald's fund. I was mainly joking...he said we could get a McDonald's card and put money on it. *sigh* he really IS going to come see me that much and our new date spot will be McDonald's in the Hermitage Wal-Mart. Not exactly the fairy tale I imagine 4 years ago...But it works for this girl! I love my hubby!

Ever wonder where money goes? MAN! I got paid yesterday and it's GONE! BILLS BILLS BILLS! And, I'm not even talking about frivolous bills or credit card bills. Damon and I are super good about charging stuff, we DON'T like to charge. Our credit card is for plane tickets and emergencies...That's all we are supposed to use it for. Anyway...Between two cell phones, groceries, water, electricity, rent, car payments, etc.. It disappears. I'm convinced someone is stealing it while we sleeping. LOL! Such is life I guess!

Pray for me today! I am seeking the Lord for something, and I would really appreciate your prayers! I also want to move closer to Him. I was thinking last night how I REALLY wanted to get married and it took 6 years of waiting before I met Damon. I was so fed up on waiting. He was and is SOOOOO worth that wait. He completes me in every way! Now, I have other desires of my heart. I want our own home, that I can make pretty (like Sis Smith and Sis Horne), I want to have a place where I can have my horses, I want a baby, I want to be able to stay home with the baby! Those are my main goals. I look around and I see these things happening for all those around us. I wonder, God my life has been so full of waiting, when is our turn going to come?! I'm tired of waiting! That's when He reminded me of Damon and how long I waited, and how satisfied and rewarded I was FOR waiting and not making my own wants happen, but instead letting God write my love story. Waiting is hard, maybe just for me, but it's hard. I'm very perfectionistic, very much a worrier, and I very much want things done how I want them, and right now. *sigh* I need peace in the waiting. And while I am waiting, I need to feel God, and not think that just because my desires haven't been filled yet, doesn't mean God has forgotten about them. I love the Lord, I WANT to make Him happy. I don't want to serve Him ONLY because of fear of losing Him, but because I also love and want to make Him happy!

Have a great day!

The good news is about Brad M. Em messaged me this morning, he started mumbling and said the word please twice, the nurse got him some ice chips and he ate them all, then he started mumbling again so she got him more ice chips. He ate all of those as well. She then got him chocolate ice cream, he at all of that too!

I am to irritated to write the rest again on blogger. :) I will later though.

Nature's Sunshine

Good Morning everybuddddy.

Explanation for the title of my post....I bought 130 dollars worth of herbal stuff from Nature's Sunshine last night (yes you can close your jaws now). A lady in our church sells it. Damon has been having troubles with his joints from time to time (happens when you get old and since he is MUCH older than me, I expect it lol) so she ordered some natural stuff to help him with that, and my husband "mr health food is gross" who won't listen to me but SISTER TORRENCE CAN GET HIM ON A DAILY MULTI VITAMIN! Somebody help me...I think I almost fainted. You guessed it, ordered him a daily multivitamin too, and I got something for me, a "fat grabber" I think. Helps you lose weight naturally or something. I hope it works. I'm trying and I will take all the natural help I can get!

Though I sound quite chipper, I am not. I am happy in the Lord, but I am still sick in Body. Please pray for the Lord's healing. I don't like going to the doctor unless I absolutely have to because A) they weigh you, and B) money. I cough on and off all night long, or have horrid dreams that make my sleep useless. I can't breath well from time to time (not to be gross) because of the congestion i.e. flem. I am annoying my husband with all my noises of coughing, hacking, or whatever else he calls it. I had to go sleep on the couch last night just to get sleep. I couldn't get comfy and our bed is just NOT big enough when I am sick (even though it is a queen). I am thinking I need a king size! lol I am really tired and my ears are really plugged, when I cough they turn itchy. Momma says I don't sound good. I have a raspy voice. Can't sing for to long or too well. I love singing, so thats annoying too. I got my job at Wal-Mart Photo Lab (this is a second part time job) and I go in tonight from 5-9, so I will be working a 14 hour day. Please pray for me...my job here has it's slow times but the all together hours of being away from home wear me out. Only for a season shall I work two jobs!

About my wal-mart Job, I really thank God He worked it out! I think He is really in this and has given me a desire of my heart, because I really wanted to make some extra money for some upcoming expenses and He got me a job in the photo lab which shuts down at 8pm, after clean up we leave at 9pm! That is one to two hours earlier than most people who work a evening part time shift. My friend works there and she there till 11 and my sister in law works there too and she varies between 10 or 11pm. I will get off at 9 and it only takes me 5mins (ish) to get home, so I will still have some time! They also don't open till 8am in the morning (where as almost everything else is 24 horus) and on Sundays they close at 7! I am pretty excited about the fact my hours are going to be less and early enough to still TRY and get sleep. God worked it out for me! Tonight is CBL tests...whatever that means. Tomorrow hopefully I will be on the floor for my first night! Woohooo....I hear the bank calling now :p lol.

I made some chicken thing last night for dinner. When you get low on money and groceries you are forced to improvise...so I sauteed chicken then put it in a pan and put spaghetti sauce in and some slices of pepperoni and topped with mozzarella and baked for 7 minutes then put that over angel hair pasta. Damon liked it. Have left overs today, for lunch.

I would ask that you all remember Damon and I in your prayers, we have some pretty big decisions in our lives coming up and I need help in sleeping if you could pray for that.

Oh yeah, IF and WHEN Damon finally says yes to having a baby...and hopefully its a girl (most importantly healthy, above gender) we have a name picked out. Some of you may wrinkle your noses at me but I wanted to honor my grandmother by using her name LORIS. I am not to fond of Loris so I put a "A" on the end of it...LORISA. Damon likes Loris better though and actually likes the name on his own (hard to find, he doesn't like many names I do) and not many have that name (which is something I really wanted....a unique name that would honor family)so If we ever get to have a baby girl her name will be,
Loris Murri Broyles!(pronounced marie, my middle name is murri too and damon loves it) Cool Huh! I also want the name Beau (short for Beaulah which means heaven land and was also my great grandmothers name) isn't that cute....beau broyles!
